1, 656 Kwara intending pilgrims airlifted to Saudi Arabia

No fewer than 1,656 intending pilgrims from Kwara State have been airlifted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The intending pilgrims were airlifted in three different batches via Max Airline from Ilorin International Airport.
The airlifting of intending pilgrims commenced on Sunday, July 14, 2019, with the first batch of 550 of intending pilgrims, while the numbers of second and third batches were 556 and 550 respectively.
Meanwhile, the last batch of 324 intending pilgrims will be airlifted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Monday 22nd of July, 2019.
A reliable source in the Kwara State Pilgrims Welfare Board who spoke with Independent Hajj Reporters on the condition of anonymity said that the last batch would be moved to Hajj Camp, Adewole Area, Ilorin on Sunday evening.
The Board under the leadership of Executive Secretary, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh had organized a series of enlightenment programmes for intending pilgrims.
A Khadi with the Kwara state Sharia Court of Appeal, Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen had during the enlightenment programmes presented practical demonstrations of Hajj activities both in Mecca and Medinah for the intending pilgrims.
