2023 Hajj: OYO PILGRIMS’ BOARD SET MARCH 20 DEADLINE FOR INITIAL FARE DEPOSIT

Oyo State Pilgrim Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) has fixed Monday, March 20 as deadline for the payment of Two Million Six Hundred Thousand Naira (N2.6M) only as initial deposit of the 2023 Hajj fare for each of intending pilgrim in the State.

 

This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Board, Professor Sayed Malik in a statement released to the press today in his office.

 

Recall that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has recently allocated 1441 seats to Oyo State for the 2023 #Hajj exercise and in view of this, the State’s Pilgrims Welfare Board has fixed the sum of Two Million Six Hundred Thousand Naira (N2.6M) only as initial deposit for each of intending pilgrims pending the announcement of final Hajj fare for the exercise by the #NAHCON.

The Board’s Chair called on all intending pilgrims wishing to travel with the Board to make sure they pay the amount into any of the designated Bank Accounts of the Board on or before Monday March 20 in order not to miss the opportunity.

 

Prof. Malik said that “those who had earlier deposited less than the 2.6 million Naira to quickly top it up with the remaining balance before the deadline and allocation of PINS to intending pilgrims who have completed their payment will start on the same day (Mon, March 20, 2023).”

 

While expressing the Board’s appreciation to the State’s Governor, Engr. Seyi Making for his unrelenting support, Malik stated that the Board has started putting in place all the necessary arrangements to ensure that the 2023 Hajj a hitch-free and successful exercise.
