The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced registration for the year 2024 Hajj exercise.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir who disclosed in Ilorin, said the registration would be done via online.
He said the announcement for the commencement of registration was in compliance with the approval by the Kwara State Government for the flag off the exercise.
The Executive Secretary advised all the interested intending pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj from state to deposit the total sum of N3.5 million as first deposit for Hajj fare.
Alhaji Abdulkadir said intending pilgrims are expected to add the sum of N1million only before the ending of November in line with the directive from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

Alhaji Abdulkadir explained that the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had directed the Board to start collecting the sum of N3.5 million only through a bank draft due to the present situation of Nigerian economy.
