The General Directorate of Civil Defense has banned, as of tomorrow, entry and use of liquefied gas cylinders of various types and sizes at camps of pilgrims and regional headquarters of government agencies in the holy places.
The Saudi Press Agency quoted Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al-Hammadi, the official spokesman of the Civil Defense Hajj mission, that the preventive measure is meant to reduce the risk of fire in Hajj camps. Adding that the decision to ban the entry and use of gas to the holy places will be implemented in coordination with relevant security agencies.
