250 Stakeholders participates in Bauchi 2021 Hajj Workshop

The Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Alhaji Abubakar Babangida Tafida has commended over 250 participants that participates in the Hajj 2021 train the trainers workshop organized by Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Board.

 

Alhaji Abubakar Babangida Tafida disclosed this while delivering his remarks during the closing ceremony of the workshop organized for Islamic scholars, religious organisations, local government Hajj officers and other stakeholders

The Executive Secretary who emphasised the need for all hands to be on desk to properly educate and enlighten Pilgrims on the do’s and don’ts of the hajj exercise urges the participants to sustain the spirit whenever they travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

.Acknowledging the efforts of Governor Bala Abdulkadir of Bauchi in ensuring a hitch free 2021 hajj exercise, Abubakar Babangida Tafida applauded the readiness of hajj stakeholders in the state towards giving their contributions.

 

He therefore called on the hajj affairs officers and the staff of the Board to rededicate themselves to ensure the success of the exercise.

 

Babangida further called on the intending Pilgrims who are yet to received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to do so without further delay, adding that the Primary Health care Development Agency has made proper arrangements to commence the administration of the second dose of the vaccine to all intending Pilgrims in Bauchi on  the 29th of May this year.

 

Speaking on behalf of the participants Alhaji Rabiu Sani Jaja who is the Chairman of the Local Government Hajj affairs forum promised to extend the knowledge acquired at the workshop to the intending Pilgrims

 

The highlight of the occasion was distribution of certificate to the participants drawn from the 20 Local Governments of the state.
