The head of the Western sector in the company, General Supervisor of the Hajj Plan, Engineer Abdul Salam bin Rashid Al-Omari, stated that the electrical loads recorded in Makkah Al-Mukarramah today amounted to 2723 megawatts, while the Sacred Mosque recorded 47 megawatts, and the maximum load in the Mina hairy was 57 megawatts, while Arafat’s hair 28 MW.

And Al-Omari said that “Saudi Electricity” has large spare electric capabilities in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the Holy Places and the Sacred Mosque, aiming to provide an electrical service with a high level of reliability and efficiency in the performance of the Hajj pilgrims.

He emphasized that the company’s electrical operating plan, which is implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, and the follow-up of the sector integration system; Going as planned.

He indicated that the operational plan for the Hajj season this year is implemented by 500 specialized engineers and technicians, and trained national cadres, to ensure the reliability of the electrical service, accompanied by 66 technical teams from emergency and maintenance at all locations.

The company has allocated another number of its technical and specialized cadres to work remotely this year, in a commitment to implement the precautionary measures for the Corona pandemic, and to support the cadres located in various locations in the holy sites, throughout the Hajj season
