2,764 health facilities to serve pilgrims under comprehensive Insurance Scheme – Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said pilgrims and and visitors will benefit from more than 2,764 facilities providing health services in the cities and regions of the Kingdom during the Umrah season 1444 AH, as part of the “Insurance for Umrah pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom”.

 

151 hospitals provide their services to pilgrims and visitors coming to Makkah and Madinah within a selection of public and private sector hospitals, in addition to 773 health centers and medical complexes that provide their services, and about 1840 medical laboratories and pharmacies in all regions of the Kingdom.

The “Insurance for Umrah performers coming from outside the Kingdom” program aims to enhance the quality of life for Umrah performers and visitors while they are in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and pray in the honorable kindergarten.

 

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has recently launched this service; With the aim of improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims, according to the highest quality standards, and enriching their religious and cultural experience, in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

 

The insurance policy provides health and insurance services that include travel, and harnesses all capabilities and efforts for pilgrims and ends all requirements from the moment they arrive until their departure after performing the rituals in order to achieve the objectives of Vision 2030 of improving the experience of pilgrims and enabling them to perform Umrah by finding quick solutions and options, which facilitates them Perform their rituals in peace and comfort, until they return to their country in health and safety.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has recently announced a number of facilities for pilgrims, including the availability of performing Umrah for all types of visas, the abolition of age conditions, and procedural restrictions related to the presence of a mahram for women, while facilitating the movement of pilgrims between cities and regions of the Kingdom, in addition to extending the period of the Umrah visa from 30 days. up to 90 days; With the aim of facilitating the arrival of pilgrims with ease and ease, raising the quality of services provided, and enriching the religious and cultural experience of the pilgrims.
