3,170 Kano Pilgrims Airlifted to Saudi Arabia – Secretary

The Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board has so far airlifted the total number of 3,170 pilgrimages to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, says the Board Executive Secretary Muhammad Abba Dambatta.

 

He said the total number of the Pilgrims transported to the holly came from the 44 local government areas of the state living only 280 to complete the 2019 Hajj exercise.

 

Muhammad Abba said the remaining 280 that are on the ground and that they might be taking to the holy land are officials and some few Pilgrims.

 

The Secretary hints that in the cause of this year Hajj preparations he has personally visited the holy land for almost 5-6 times to ensure that the exercise is without any hitches.

 

Muhammad Abba said so far they have conducted enlightenment activities first at 16 centres and today he has completed the total number of 32 centres.

 

Similarly, the Secretary hints that the board has employed the services of 30 medical personnel with five environmental sanitation officers who would ensure healthy conduct of the exercise.

 

He said in trying to cater for all the Pilgrims in the Holy Land they have Male and Females aides workers who will help both Men and Women to carry out their Religious deeds without any problems.

 

On Feedings, the Executive Secretary said the meals this year 2019 for the Pilgrims is more qualitative, quantitative and delicious than 2018 even though last year they have gotten an award on Foods from NAHCON.

 

The Secretary Commended Governor Umar Ganduje for ensuring that all the necessary needs of the Pilgrims Welfare Board have been thoroughly taken care off.
