A total of 65, 000 Nigerian Pilgrims comprises of 44, 450 States pilgrims and 20, 500 private tour operators pilgrims will perform this year hajj in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, NAHCON. said it has successfully airlift the 65, 000 Nigerian Pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A statement signed on behalf of Chairman/CEO by Fatima Sanda Usara, NAHCON Head of Public Affairs unit said “The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria is pleased to announce the completion of 2019 Hajj outbound airlift of Nigerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. The operation spanned 93 flights that conveyed 44, 450 pilgrims from State Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards/Commissions and Agencies. The last Flynas aircraft that departed Abuja this morning of 6th August transported 301 pilgrims left behind from various states of the federation. Consequently, NAHCON officials are expected to depart the country for Saudi Arabia, today 6th of August 2019 having certified that no pilgrim is left behind.
