80, 313 Indonesia pilgrims paid 2022 Hajj fees, Set for departure – Ministry of Religion

The Directorate General of Hajj and Umrah Implementation of the Ministry of Religion has opened the stage of paying off the Hajj Travel Costs or Bipih 1443 H and confirmation of departure for prospective pilgrims. This stage opens on 9-20 May 2021.

 

 

Director of Domestic Hajj Services Saiful Mujab said, within a week more than 80,000 pilgrims had confirmed departures.

 

“As of Friday, May 13 afternoon, there were 80,313 hajj pilgrims paying Bipih and confirming their departure,” said Saiful Mujab in Jakarta, Saturday (14/5/2022).

 

According to him, there are 92,825 pilgrims who are entitled to make payments and confirm departures for the Hajj season of 1443 H/2022 AD. “This includes quotas for Regional Hajj Officers and supervisors from KBIHU,” said Mujab.

 

Confirmation of departure must be made by pilgrims who have paid Bipih 1441 H. Currently, 87.06 percent of pilgrims have confirmed that they are ready to depart.

 

“There are still 11,933 quota of pilgrims who are given the opportunity to make payments and confirm until next May 20,” he explained.

 

Head of Sub-Directorate for Hajj Registration, Hanif added, on the same date, payment was opened for pilgrims who were included in the reserve quota. A total of 18,460 quotas have been prepared as reserves.

 

“Currently, 7,782 congregants have paid Bipih for the reserve quota,” he said.
