ABU Partners Saudi Arabia Ummul-Qura University on Hajj Operations Management Studies

Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria has commenced process of entering into partnership with Ummul-Qura University, Mecca Saudi Arabia on Hajj administration management studies.

The collaborations will allow Students undergoing Hajj (Pilgrimage) Administration and Management and Hajj rites studies at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria to complete their studies at Ummul-Qura University, Mecca, Saudi Arabia

Prof. Muhammad-Bello Uthman, Director, Centre for Islamic Legal Studies, (CILS), who disclosed this during the 21st Annual Judges Conference in Zaria recently said the move will also see the University entered into agreement with two other foreign universities on research in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), teaching and exchange of staff and students.

Prof. Muhammad-Bello disclosed that a delegation from ABU had earlier this year, visit Saudi Arabia and disused with the Vice-Chancellor of Ummul-Qura University on the areas of collaborations on Hajj (Pilgrimage) Administration and Management and Hajj rites.

“Under the proposed MoU, some students of ABU would travel to Saudi Arabia to complete their studies at Ummul-Qura University to have practical knowledge during the annual Holy Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia,” he said.

The Masters Degree in Business Administration(MBA), with specialisation in Hajj Operations Management programme which has been accredited accreditation from National Universities Commission (NUC) is under the Distance Learning Center of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria,

The institution in an online advertorial urge interested candidates to log on to www.apply.abudlc.edu.ng to apply, adding that the prospective applicants must have all the relevant credentials and meet the admission requirements listed on www.abudlc.edu.ng.

The advert said students will have 24 hours access to lectures and course contents.
