Accolade pours in as Hajj Commission relocates to permanent office

Hajj Stakeholders, Prominent leaders and Journalists have showered congratulatory messages to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on relocating to permanent headquarters.

 

Hajj Reporters reports that the commission on Tuesday announced the relocation to permanent office, named Hajj House, situated at Zakaria Maimalari Street, Central Business District, Abuja.

 

However, on the Hajj reporters’ WhatsApp group, created by Independent Hajj Reporters a lot of goodwill messages and commendation had been poured in.

 

Some of the messages congratulate NAHCON, while others commended the Acting Chairman/CEO of the commission, Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar.

 

Some messages read, “Ma sha Allah. Finally moved”, “The management of Amisad Air Support Services Ltd wishes to congratulate the Ag. Chairman/CEO, Members and the Staff of the Commission for this great achievement. May the Almighty Allah rewards you all.”

 

Others read, “Congratulations, another giant stride by NAHCON.”,  “Alhamdulillah. We went there yesterday just to sing praises to Allah.  It’s a giant stride.”,  “Masha Allah congratulations NAHCON.”,   “And big congratulations to the Ag. Chairman and mgt of NAHCON for the gigantic achievement. Wrote Head of Corporate of Jaiz Bank

 

The messages continued as thus, “Hearty congratulations to the Chairman, CEO Barr Abdullahi Mukhtar and the entire management of NAHCON.”,  “Masha Allah.more success insha Allah.” and “MAA SHA ALLAH!”.

 

Alh Badamasi,  a former Zonal Coordinator in NAHCON also join the praises “ My heartiest congratulations to the Chairman and entire staff of NAHCON for the news premises. May Allah make it translates to further meritorious services to the Ummah”

 

The Executive Chairman of Yobe State hajj Commission, Alh Bukar Kime said that “Yobeans heartily congratulate NAHCON and its leadership for a smooth and successful relocation to its new Headquarters”

 

The Ag Executive Secretary of Niger State Pilgrims Boards (Muslim Wing) Alh Maku described it as “ the biggest achievement ever recorded in the history of NAHCON”

 

 

Recall that the Commission’s new headquarters was acquired in 2017.

 

While confirming the development to NAN, the head of Public Affairs division of NAHCON, Hajiya Fatima Usara, said the new office facility is located at Zakaria Maimalari Street, Central Business District Abuja.

 

Usara said the facility cost the Commission N2.4 billion representing 97.6 per cent of the total amount while the Federal Government allocated N587 million representing 2.4 per cent.

 

The amount was raised by NAHCON through savings and internally generated revenue.

 

Usara also disclosed that member of the board of the commission held a meeting at the new headquarter office to strategies on the operations of the organisation.

 

”The meeting was chaired by the Acting Chairman of the commission, Mr Abdullahi Muhammad, the Commissioner Operations, Alhaji Abdullahi Saleh and other board members”, NAHCON said.
