Adamawa State Pilgrims’ Commission incorporate Hajj and Umrah Service Company

Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission said it has incorporated a new company to offer Hajj and Umrah services known as Adamawa Hajj and Umrah Tour Company Limited.

A press statement from the Department of Public Communications and Enlightenment of the boards said the “Company held its maiden Board of Directors meeting Monday at Board room of the Commission to discuss issues about its scope of activities and operations”.

It said the “Chairman of the Company, Imam Bappari Umar Kem who is also the chairman of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission welcomed Directors of the company and sought their support and co-operation in running the affairs of the Company”

 

The statement said the Permanent Secretary /Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam Salihu Abubakar is the Managing Director and “expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for granting approval to the Commission to set up the Hajj and Umrah Tour Company.

 

“Salihu Abubakar appreciates the efforts of the Secretary to the Adamawa State Government, Malam Bashir Ahmad for his support and guidance saying Adamawa is the second State in the country to have registered Hajj and Umrah Service Company after Kano state.

The new company according to the CEO, is a business-oriented firm/organisation that will provide Hajj and Umrah Services to interested members of the public all over the country.

 

The Chairman of the Company is Imam Bappari Umar Kem while the Managing Director is Malam Salihu Abubakar.

 

Directors of the Company include Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Dammudo, Alhaji Hassan Ali, Alhaji Àhmad Adamu and Hajiya Maryam Zubairu while Barrister Fatima Raji is the Secretary of the Company.

 

The Company is situated within the Corporate Headquarters of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Yola.
