AHUON promises seamless Hajj operation, warn against unlicensed Tour Operators

The Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria, AHUON, South West Zone has promised to ensure seamless, smooth operations in this year’s hajj exercise.

 

 

The Vice President of AHUON, Alhaji Abdul Lateef Ekundayo who gave the assurance at the South West stakeholders meeting at AHUON secretariat Lagos, promised to improve on hajj management services and operations.

 

In light of the difficulties some Tour Operator companies encountered from Airliners during the 2022 Hajj, Alhaji Ekundayo said  that Tour Operators needed to discuss and deliberate on some of the cost items and find a practical solution that would ensure the 2023 Hajj is successful without hitches

 

He said the number of people performing Hajj and Umrah has increased dramatically in recent years which prompt the association to chartered flights to airlift pilgrims.

 

Alhaji Ekundayo decried the high cost of airline tickets and Muassasa services in Saudi Arabia which make it difficult for them to operate.

 

 

In his remark Deputy National President, of the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria, AHUON, Alhaji Abdul-Jeleel Oloriaje assured the general public of seamless Hajji service this year and urged intending pilgrims to beware of fraudulent Hajj Operators that are not licensed by NAHCON

 

All Directors of Tours Operators Companies who are members of AHUON South West Zone were present at the meeting.
