Airlift of Jigawa Pilgrims back to Nigeria Commences on Friday

The first batch of Jigawa pilgrims will return to the country on Friday this week while the second flight will follow in a few days.

The Director Operation of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo stated this during a stakeholders meeting in Makkah.

Alhaji Umar Labbo called on the pilgrims to be ready, as at any moment they can be called upon for the return journey as soon as the board received the flight approval from Nigeria Hajj Commission.

He further stated that the Zamzam water for the pilgrims has already been stored at the boards headquarters Dutse, while proper arrangement have been made for the speedy and easier collection of pilgrim’s luggage’s after their arrival.

Earlier commenting, the Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Sani Alhassan Muhammad appreciated the pilgrims character during their stay in the Holy Land.

He attributed the success of the 2019 Hajj exercise to the effort of all the stakeholders.
