AIRLIFT OF NIGER PILGRIMS BEGINS ON FRIDAY

The airlift of Intending Pilgrims from Niger State for this year’s Hajj is to commence this Friday
The Acting Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Umar Makun Lapai disclosed this today in his office.
Alhaji Makun said Intending Pilgrims from the State would be departing the Country to the Holy City of Madina in Saudi Arabia aboard Max Air which is the official carrier to the State.
He also stated that the Board has already secured and printed Visas of over 98% of the Pilgrims and completed all necessary arrangements to airlift the Pilgrims.
The Acting Executive Secretary advised all Pilgrims to always take instructions from their Area Pilgrims Welfare Officers (APWOs) of their respective Local Government of payments before entering the Hajj Camp because, no Pilgrim would be attended to if his/her Local Government is not called. He concluded by saying that the Board has mapped out a strategy to ensure the security of it’s Intending Pilgrims during camping exercise.
It could be recalled that the 2019 Inaugural Flight for this Country departed Katsina to Madina with Four Hundred and Ninety Five Passengers on the 10th of this month.
