Analysis: 5 Hajj carriers airlifts 29,254 pilgrims of 18 states from 9 airports in 13 days

As at today 6th of June 2023, NAHCON has so far facilitated the airlifts of a total numbers of 29, 254 pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via 69 flights trips for this year’s Hajj exercise.

 

Details Airlifts Analysis by HAJJ REPORTERS using the NAHCON’S command and control flight updates records shows that Flynas airline has so far airlifted a total number of 13, 550 pilgrims after conducting 33 trips of flight operations from 2 airports conveying pilgrims from 7 states of Nigeria to the holy land.

 

Further analysis shows Flynas operated from Sokoto and Lagos airports conveying Sokoto, Zamfara, Yobe, Osun, Ogun, Oyo and Lagos pilgrims

Max airline has so far airlifted 8, 590 pilgrims via 16 trips of flight operations from 3 airports and carried pilgrims of 9 states. Max has evacuated pilgrims from Katsina, FCT, Kogi, Kano, Bauchi and Jigawa state using Bauchi, Katsina and FCT airport.

 

Aero Contractors Airline transported a total number of 3,660 in 8 flights operations from 3 airports- namely: Abuja, Lagos and Adamawa.

 

Air peace airlifted 2,121 pilgrims after 9 flights operations from 2 airports namely Ilorin and FCT while Azman airlines transported 1137 pilgrims from Jigawa and Kaduna in 3 flights operations from Dutse and Kaduna Airports.
