Armed Forces Hajj Group Lauds NAHCON’s support, promises collaboration

The Armed Forces Hajj Group will continue to operate within the regulations put in place by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

This was disclosed by the Director Islamic Affairs, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General S.G. Mustapha while receiving NAHCON’s Inspection Team in his Bonny Camp Office, Lagos during the weekend.

General Mustapha who also doubles as the leader of Armed forces Hajj Group noted that the support and guidance from the Commission in the past had tremendous impact in their activities.

Earlier, the Deputy Director, States and Zones, Alidu Shutti who led the Inspection team reiterated that the Commission embarked on the exercise in compliance with the NAHCON Establishment Act, 2006.

Mr. Shutti harped on the need for all service providers to have a valid license from the Commission. He said that the Team was in Bonny Camp to confirm the submission made by Armed forces Hajj Group in their application for a Hajj License.

The team was received by Officers from the Directoratesl of Islamic Affairs of Nigerian Army , Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air force among others.

Special prayer was thereafter said towards having a successful Hajj operations for external Pilgrims this year.
