Barr Umar Babangida appointed as Secretary of FCT legal services

The FCT Minister, Muhammed Musa Bello has appointed Barr Muhammad Umar Babangida as the Secretary, FCT legal services secretariat.

A press statement signed  by Chief Press Secretary to the FCT Minister Anthony Ogunleye on Monday said “His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, based on the recommendation of the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has approved the appointment of Mandate Secretaries, Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Heads of Agencies and others into relevant positions in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Barr Umar  Babangida is the President of Hujaj Right Monitoring and served in various NAHCON committees. Barr Umar Babangida served as Legal Consultant to NAHCON for over 7 years where he made vital contributions to various hajj/Umrah policies.

He was a Member Hajj Savings Committee, Member of Hajj Training Institute Committee and Chairman Pilgrims Rights Committee. He was also a member of Member investment Committee and Secretary of Excess luggage committee of NAHCON for years.

Among the 13 Secretaries appointed along with Barr Umar Babangida are: Ibrahim Abubakar Dantsoho Secretary as Secretary of Area Council Services Secretariat, Abubakar Ibrahim Secretary, Agricultural & Rural Development Secretariat, Agboola Lukman Dabiri, Secretary, Economic Planning, Revenue Generation and PPP and Hadiza Mahammed Kabir, Secretary, Social Development Secretariat.
