Bauchi Gov. warns state,LG Hajj officials against misconduct in the holy land

The acting Executive Secretary of the Bauchi state muslim pilgrims welfare board (MPWB) Alhaji Kasim Danlami Shall, has warned state and the Local government officials against any misconduct in the holy land.

Shall gave the warning on Saturday while addressing officials and local government hajj affairs officers Pilgrims Guides from the 20 local government areas in Bauchi.

“I call on officials and the local government hajj officers not to betray the confidence reposed in them, we will not relent to take action on any officer found wanting,” he said

Kasim Shall also urged them to consider their sponsorship by the state government to guide its pilgrims in the holy land as a service to their motherland.

He noted that they were selected based on their experience and knowledge in hajj affairs, stressing that they are expected to do the needful in order to achieve the desired objective.

He also reminded all relevant stakeholders on hajj to contribute towards the success of the exercise.

Meanwhile, Wednesday 24th of July has been confirmed as the date for the commencement of airlift of the state pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
