Bauchi Govt advice pilgrims to pay hadaya sacrifices through Jaiz Bank

The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (MPWB) has advice intending Pilgrims from Bauchi State to this year hajj to pay their Hadaya (Anamila sacrifice) money through Jaiz Bank

 

The Acting Executive Secretary of the Board Alhaji Alkassim Danlami Shall who spoke through information officer of the Road Alhaji Mohammed Yunusa told Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR) that the state government instructs intending pilgrims from the state to pay their hadaya to designated Bank.

 

He said National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has appointed Jaiz Bank for collection of pilgrim sacrifice, the state government was satisfied with that arrangement.

 

“We, therefore, advice our intending pilgrims to pay their hadaya with Jaiz Bauchi as NAHCON advice all Muslim welfare Board to do so,” he said

 

According to him, that will save them from shortchanged by fraudulent agents in the hadaya rites.

He explained that Jaiz Bank is to provide the required manpower to supervise the project at the slaughterhouses in Saudi Arabia for proper implementation of the Hadaya rites.

 

 

Meanwhile, the Executive Secretary said already 1900 intending pilgrims complete their payment as target by the Board.

 

Shall said NAHCON approved 3,090 seats, pilgrims, this year we successfully registered 1,900 and completed their formalities to travel for Hajj. “Although registration is ongoing  some are still coming but that number has been our target for the 2019 Hajj Operations,” He said
