Bauchi Pilgrims Board lauds Outgoing Director, Reminds intending Pilgrims of N2.5 million Hajj Deposit

The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has applauded its outgoing Director of Administration and Human Resources Malam Alkasim Dallami Shall on his dedication, and hard work to the development of the Hajj industry.

 

 

The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made the commendation yesterday during a brief farewell occasion organized by the Board to congratulate Malam Alkasim Dallami on his successful retirement from the service.

 

 

He noted that Malam Alkasim has invested so much in the development of Hajj operations by giving the industry much-needed support.

 

While wishing him all the best, Imam Abdurrahman enjoined his staff to continue to emulate Malam Alkasim’s good ideologies.

 

On the 2023 Hajj preparation, Imam Abdurrahman commended sub-committees set up by the Board to issue Bank Deposit Tellers and receipts to intending pilgrims.

 

He said the exercise was conducted in all the nooks and crannies of the state, particularly hajj pay point centres at the grassroots, and stressed that the Board is on track to serve the pilgrims better.

 

Imam Abdurrahman emphasized that intending pilgrims are free to come forward to make their deposit and reminded that the sum of 1.5  to 2.5 Million Naira is fixed as the initial deposit pending the announcement of the final Hajj Fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.

 

Earlier, the Outgoing Director of Administration and Human Resources Malam Alkasim Dallami Shall expressed happiness for the honour by the Board, and promised to continue to support the hajj industry.
