Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has reiterated its determination to turn around Hajj operation by modernising its record management system.

The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made this known during a senior management meeting with the consultant of Netsword Limited which take place in the conference room of the Board.
He said the meeting is a deliberate effort by the Board to come up with a road map that would provide a level playing ground for the success of the 2023 Hajj operation.
Imam Abdurrahman noted that this administration is focusing more on transparency and fair play in managing Affairs, and expressed optimism that the Hajj web application would help in providing easy access to pilgrims’ data and proper records.
He stressed the need for the Board to partner with Netsword Limited to acquaints staff with developments in Information and Communication Technology ICT, adding that Hajj management is gradually becoming paperless.
The highlight of the meeting is a presentation on the proposed web application by a consultant of Netsword Limited.
