Breaking: Nigeria begins return airlift of pilgrims

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), has began the return airlift of Nigerian pilgrims who participated in Hajj 2019.
The commission had earlier announced today as the date for the commencement of the airlift.
The promise was kept as 432 pilgrims from Lagos state were airlifted by Flynas Airline with Flight number XY7434 from the King Abdulaziz International Airport Jeddah.
According to a message released by NAHCON’s Command and Control Centre, the aircraft took off at exactly 3:pm (1pm Nigeria Time) Saturday.
They are expected to land in Lagos at about 6pm Nigerian time.
The pilgrims were the first to be airlifted from Lagos zone after the commission launched this year’s inaugural flight from Katsina state.
