Britain launch Campaign to protect pilgrims from fraudsters

Around 25,000 British Muslims make the pilgrimage to Mecca.
A campaign has been launched by police and travel organisations to reduce fraud on the Hajj.
Around 25,000 British Muslims make the pilgrimage to Mecca, the birthplace of Islam, in Saudi Arabia each year and many will book in the coming weeks.
However some pilgrims never receive their tickets because the travel agents are fraudsters.
In response to this, police will be visiting airports, including Birmingham, to raise awareness and also give briefings at mosques.
