Eid Al-Fitr vacation begins in Saudi Arabia today

Keen to ensure happiness of his people, King Salman of Saudi Arabia has directed that Eid Al-Fitr vacation in the country starts on the 20th of Ramadan (10 days before Eid).
Civil and military government sector personnel, were previously scheduled to work till the end of the working day on Monday 24/9/1438 H. Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
However, upon the directives of King Salman, the vacation will start earlier with the end of the working day being Thursday (June 15) corresponding to the 20th of Ramadan 1438 H. as per Ummal Qura calendar.
Accordingly, all civil and military government officials will enjoy next Sunday and Monday as days off.
