FCT Will Ensure Speedy Completion Of Muslim Pilgrims Board Office Complex – Minister of state FCT

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has reassured its commitment to ensure the early completion of the Office complex of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board located at Kaura district of the Federal Capital City.

The Minister of state FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu gave the assurance while inspecting the level of construction work at the site in Abuja.

Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu said the Administration was determined to complete all abandoned projects in the territory in line with the commitment of the present Administration.

The Minister of State assured the contractor handling the project of prompt release of funds to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated period.

In his speech at the site, the Director of the Board, Mallam Muhammad Nasiru Danmallam said the visit by the minister would go a long way in gingering the Contractor to deliver.

Mallam Nasiru Danmallam stated that her visit was the first blessing received by the project from a higher position since its commencement over nine years ago.

He explained that the visit indicated the passion she has for the project which also ensured that the contractor was mobilized back to site after abandonment for many months for lack of funding.

While briefing the Minister, the Contractor handling the project, Mr. Ejike Amu assured that with the prompt release of funds to the company, the project would be completed within twenty calendar months.

Mr. Amu explained that the contract was a five-storey building with offices, conference rooms, Parking space, Mosque and other structures for the Board.
