Fintiri reconstitutes Adamawa Muslim Pilgrims Board

 

Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has reconstituted the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
A statement from the government said Fintiri approved the appointment of 15 members of the board with Usman Marafa as chairman.

The Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Homwashi Wonosikou, made the disclosure in a statement passed to newsmen in Yola.

Wonosikou, who said the appointment of the chairman and members of the board is with immediate effect, named the members as Kabiru Uba, Sulaiman Bello, Usman Bajika, Musa Usman, Ibrahim Umar and Musa Abdullahi.

Other members of the board include Umaru Yaro, Usman Nasir, Bapparai Kyam, Modibbo Wuro-Yembe, Ahmed Mohammed, Abubakar Kaja, Aliyu Ibrahim, and Damudo Muhammad

Fintiri urged the board appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by carrying out their duties diligently.
