The new updates posted on Ministry of Hajj and Umrah verifiable twitter handle shows that the Ministry of Health has abolished the Requirement to show “Immune” Status on Tawakalana before entering the Two Holy Mosques for everyone.

This means that for entering Saudi Arabia, pilgrims need to have taken Covid 19 vaccines. However, the initial guideline that require shows of vaccination status before entering the two holy mosques has been cancelled.

Foreign Pilgrims can also obtain Umrah permits without Proof of Vaccination as was the case previously.
