FORUM OF STATES HAJJ COMMISSIONS/AGENCIES/BOARDS CHAIRMEN CONDOLES WITH MAIGONA OVER FATHER’S DEATH

The Forum of State Chairmen of Hajj Commissions/Agencies/Boards of Nigeria, has on Tuesday paid condolence visit to the Chairman of Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alh.Mukhtar Maigona over the death of his father., Alhaji Umaru Maigona.

The delegation led by the Forum’s Chairman Alhaji Abubakar S-Pawa
Dambo visited the deceased house for condolence in Yarlabe village of Wamakko Local Government Area.

S-Pawa Dambo who is the Chairman of Zamfara State Hajj Commission, described the deceased as a father not only to his biological children but to entire people of Sokoto State.

He described the deceased as a father who rendered his selfless services to humanity throughout his life.

“We are here on behalf of the State Hajj Commission’s Chairmen to condole with the immediate family of our late father, Alhaji Umaru Maigona, the Sokoto State Government and entire people of the state over this great loss.

“May Almighty Allah accept his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.

“We also pray to Allah to give his family and entire people of Sokoto State the fortitude to bear the loss,” S-Pawa Dambo said.

The Delegation was received by the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Manir Muhammad Dan’Iya who thanked the Forum for the visit.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to reward them and return them to their various destinations safely.

The Director-General, Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Shehu Mohammed Dange is among the government’s officials that witnessed and received the delegation.
