Ghana Appeal to Saudi Arabia for Increase in Hajj Seat Quota

The Speaker of Ghanaian parliamentary  Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has appealed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to increase the Hajj Quota allocated to Ghana to enable Majority of Ghanian Muslims perform hajj.

 

The request was made through Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Ghana His Excellency  Hisham Mishal Al-Suwailem, when the later paid a courtesy call on the Speaker.

HAJJ REPORTERS correspondent in Ghana reports that “the two officials also discussed issue relates to strengthening economic and social ties between the two countries.

 

Also on the front burner was the need to resuscitate the Ghana-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Association to effectuate person to person relations between the two countries.
