Ghanaian President Reconstitutes Hajj Board

Ghanaian President  Reconstitutes Hajj Board. 


President Nana Akufo-Addo has reconstituted the Hajj Board ahead of this year’s season. The action was contained in a press release issued by the Acting Communications Director at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin.

Sheikh I.C. Quaye, former Greater Accra Regional Minister and one time Member of Parliament (MP) the Ayawaso Central Constituency, is the Chairman of the 11-member board, which inauguration would be done before this week ends or so.

The board members are Abdul Malik Adams Gariba, Farouk Hamza, Sheikh Amin Bonsu, Alhaji Inusa Amadu, Kamal-Deen Abdulai and Ismaela Ibrahim.

The rest are Mohammadu Osmanu Alidu,  Mohammed Osumanu Yunusah, Braimah Adams and Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed.

Also appointed by the president are Dr. Seidu Zakaria , Head, Medical; Abdul Rahman Alhassan Gomda, Head, Communications and Dr. Sani Abdulai, Head, Information Technology (IT).
The management of Hajj has hardly been devoid of challenges and the president would definitely charge the board members and heads of the departments to eliminate the annual bottlenecks.
