Hajj 2019: 1,636 Kaduna pilgrims airlifted to Saudi Arabia

Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has transported 1,636 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s hajj.
The board’s Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Muhammad Abdullahi said this on Thursday in Kaduna.
He said the third flight with 549 intending pilgrims from Soba and Zaria Local government areas left Kaduna International Airport by 5:05am.
Abdullahi while speaking to journalists, added that, so far, 1,049 males and 587 females were transported by Med view airline.
“All the intending pilgrims were directly flown to Prince Bin Abdul’aziz International airport, Madinah,” he said
About 3,600 intending pilgrims are expected to perform the pilgrimage from the state this year.
