Hajj 2019: 555 First Batch of Bauchi pilgrims back home

The first flight of Bauchi state pilgrims who perform this year’s Hajj on Sunday has arrived Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Bauchi on Max Air with 555 pilgrims.

The plane landed Sunday at about 9:45 pm with the pilgrims in high spirit of reuniting with their families.

Speaking with journalists at the airport, a member of the 2019 Hajj Coordinating Committee Alhaji Danladi Muhammad, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.

Alhaji Muhammad who is the caretaker committee chairman of Bauchi local government commended the state pilgrims for exhibiting good conduct throughout their stay in the holy land.

Also speaking, the caretaker committee chairman of Shira local government Alhaji Maigari Muhd Khanna, called for improvement in the organization of the exercise in the future.

Alhaji Maigari Khanna observed that there was a need to provide enough aircraft to convey back home pilgrims after completing the Hajj exercise.

Meanwhile, all the pilgrims have landed with their 8 kilograms travelling bags and were given 4-litre gallons full of ZamZam water on their arrival at the airport.
