Hajj 2019: Gov Abubakar Sani gives Niger pilgrims 200 Saudi Riyals each

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has given each pilgrim from the state SR 200 (N20,000) as an incentive.
This was disclosed to reporters in Makkah on Monday by the Acting Executive Secretary of the State Welfare Board Alh Umar Makun Lapai.
He said the Three Thousand, Two Hundred and Eighty-One (3,281) Niger Pilgrims that performed this year’s Hajj have all received the 200 Saudi Riyals given to them by the Governor.
In a statement by the spokesperson of the board, Hassanah Isa, Alh Makun was quoted as saying that the gesture was meant to assist the Pilgrims that are still in the Holy Land after completing the Hajj Rites, while they await their return schedule from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He further reminded the Pilgrims about the importance of supplications and glorification of Allah in their daily lives.
He urged them to pray for the Governor, peace of the State and Nigeria at large.
Nigerian Pilgrims have started returning to Nigeria on 17th of this month.
