The Executive Secretary Bauchi Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Babangida Tafida has encouraged all intending pilgrims from Bauchi to continue to make hajj fare deposit for 2020 Hajj exercise.
Abubakar Tafida stated this at Federal Radio Cooperation of Nigeria FRCN, and Albarka Radio Bauchi, in continuation of the Boards visits to media organizations in the state, expressed optimism that the 2020 hajj might hold.
He noted that the visit was targeted at rebuilding a synergy between the board and the media, adding that the media has helped in the area of information dissemination, enquiries and enlightenment over the years.
Abubakar Tafida thanked the media for its continuous support and asked for stronger ties between the board and the media to deliver quality services to pilgrims.
Executive Secretary who acknowledged the effort of the Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Administration towards a fight against a global pandemic CONVID 19, urged good people of Bauchi state to make use of Ramadan period to continue to pray for a total eradication of the current deadly infection in the world.
Ealear, the General Manager Globe FM ably represented by the Alhaji Bappa Umar Misau and that of Albarka Radio Alhaji Dauda Chiroma congratulated the Executive Secretary for the appointment and promised to make contribution during operation.
