Hajj 2020: Emergency rescue officers to be selected as Hajj officials

 

 

As many as 30 Rescue officers and officials including females were selected for Moavineen-e-Hajj- 2020 in a balloting ceremony held at Rescue Headquarters.

The ceremony was chaired by the Director-General Punjab Emergency Service Dr Rizwan Naseer while DD (HR), Dr Foaad Shahzad Mirza, DD (Finance), Eijaz Ahmed Virk, DD(P&D) Faheem Ahmed Qureshi, Head of Operations Ayaz Aslam, Head of Info & CS Ms Deeba Shahnaz Akhtar, SWO Ms Sumaria Liquat, officers from Academy and other officials were also present.

According to the Spokesperson of Rescue 1122 Punjab, primarily balloting for Moavineen-e-Hajj of 2020 conducted at the districts level across Punjab under the leadership of District Emergency Officers on the instructions of the Headquarters. After that, all DEOs sent the selected nominees to headquarters for final balloting.

At this occasion, DG Rescue Punjab selected 30 rescue officers and official including female rescuers out of total through fair balloting process for Moavineen-e-Hajj. He said that out of 30 selected rescuers nominees, the Ministry of Religious Affairs would finalize the names of only 15 members for Moavineen-e-Hajj 2020. He congratulated to all selected officers and officials and expressed his gratitude and best wishes.
