Hajj 2020: FCT begins Registration/Collection of N500,000 Deposit 1st November

 

The FCT Muslim pilgrims’ Welfare Board hereby informs the FCT residents especially the Muslim Umma that the Board is to commence the registration of 2020 Hajj intending pilgrims from Friday 1th November 2019.
Intending pilgrims who wish to perform hajj through the board are to deposit a minimum of N500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) via a bank draft payable to the “FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Abuja” from any commercial banks to book for a seat.

Intending Pilgrims are to deposit an average of N1,500,000.00 (One Million, Five Hundred Thousand naira) by the end of March 2020 in a maximum of 3 installment before the announcement of the final hajj fare by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

The bank draft and E-passport of the intending Pilgrim should be submitted to Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Officers at the secretariat of any of the six area councils of the FCT as well as the head office of the Board to book for a seat for the exercise.
Please, note that only Bank Draft would be accepted by the officials, NO CASH payment would be entertained.

Similarly, the Board wishes to inform the Residents that registration by proxy would not be allowed while Female Intending Pilgrims would only be registered with their (Male guide) “Muharam” in line with Saudi Arabian regulations.
