The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has declared a deadline for the collection of 2020 hajj deposits at the state level.

The Ag. Executive Secretary Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mal. Alkasim Danlami Shall disclosed this during a press briefing held today in his office.

Alkasim explained that the intending Pilgrims are at liberty to pay a minimum of N500,000 in three instalments up to the tune of N1.5m on or before the deadline declared by the commission.

He emphasized that Banks tellers are obtainable at the Board’s Headquarters along Adamu Jumba Road, opp. Jiffatu shopping complex, Bauchi or in the 20 Local Government Councils in the state through the Hajj Affairs Officers.

Alkasim also implored the intending Pilgrims from the state to ensure prompt payment of their deposits, adding that only 2,010 seats were allocated to the state as against 3,090 allocated last year, saying the sales of this year’s hajj seat is base on first come first serve.
