This new system was made known via a letter sent to NAHCON by the Nigerian Immigration Service and made available in NAHCON media WhatsApp group today.

It stated that “The arrangements have been concluded by the Nigeria Immigration Service to deploy the system which is already fully operational at all airports designated for the forthcoming 2020 Hajj operations”.

“To further facilitate the efficient and hitch-free deployment of the exercise, all intending pilgrims to the 2020 Hajj are expected to present themselves for biometric/biographic capturing by Immigration Personnel two (2) hours before the departure time at the airport”.

The letter also stated that “Intending Pilgrims are expected to adhere strictly to this latest development in order to have a hitch-free Hajj.

The Nigeria Immigration Service is counting on your usual support and cooperation towards the success of this exercise as preparation for Hajj 2020 gathers momentum.
