Hajj 2021: Borno PWB launches second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to intending pilgrims

The Borno State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the Inoculation of second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on the state’s intending Pilgrims.

 

The board, in a statement from its information unit on Tuesday said the exercise has started in the morning at its headquarters in Maiduguri.

 

The statement said after receiving his second dose, the Executive Secretary of the board,  Alhaji Ali Malam Bukar called on all Intending pilgrims who have received the first dose to come to the headquarters to receive the second jab.

 

Bukar reminded all prospective pilgrims that the Inoculation of the vaccine is an instruction from the Saudi Arabian authorities that all Pilgrims must receive the two doses of the COVID 19 Vaccine before they are allowed to perform this year’s Hajj.

 

4The Executive Secretary therefore called on the intending Pilgrims to report to the board headquarters at 9 am everyday to receive the vaccine, stating that the excise will end on Friday.
