Hajj 2021: FCT commence vaccination of Intending Pilgrims Friday

Intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from the Federal Capital Territory are to take the first dose of Covid 19 Vaccination from Friday 26th March 2021.

 

While speaking on the exercise, the Director of the Board, Mallam Muhammad Nasiru DanMallam said the FCT Administration has concluded arrangements to ensure that intending pilgrims fulfill all requirements for this year’s hajj exercise.

 

Mallam Nasiru DanMallam disclosed that the Health Secretariat of the FCTA has provided enough vaccines that would be administered to the Intending Pilgrims from the Territory.

 

The Director said the exercise would be carried out at the headquarters of the Board with Intending pilgrims who register at the Headquarters on Friday 26/03/2021 and Monday 29/03/2021 from 8 o’clock in the morning.

 

He disclosed that Intending Pilgrims from Abuja Municipal Area councils are expected to take their first dose of the vaccine on Tuesday 30/03/2021 while those from Bwari Area Councils would take theirs on Wednesday 31/03/2021.

 

 

Similarly, Intending Pilgrims from Gwagwalada Area Council are to be vaccinated on Thursday 01/04/2021, to be followed by those from Kuje Area Council that will be vaccinated on Friday 02/04/2021.

 

Again, according to DanMallam, Intending Pilgrims from Kwali Area Council are to be vaccinated on Monday 5/04/2021 and those from Abaji Area council are expected to take their first dose of the vaccine on Tuesday 6/04/2021.

 

He called the attention of the Intending pilgrims to note that the inoculation exercise is an obligation that needed to be fulfilled to meetup with traveling requirements to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

He assured that the Board is working hard to make all necessary arrangement for the religious exercise while waiting for further directives on the 2021 Hajj from relevant authorities.
