Hajj 2021: Gombe SSG inspect Pilgrims’ Hajj Camp

Ahead of preparation for Hajj 2021, The Secretary to the Government of Gombe State, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has visited the Lawanti hajj Camp Gombe to assess the level of preparedness ahead of the proposed 2 days official working visit.

A statement signed by the Head of media of Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Board, Hauwa Mohammed said “The SSG commended the level of work at the Hajj camp and appealed to the contractor to hasten work within the stipulated time frame”.

The statement said the “Board Executive secretary Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan assured the SSG that the project will be completed ahead of time to pave way for the successful camping of intending Muslim pilgrims in the next pilgrimage to the holy land of Saudi Arabia”.

The visit of the NAHCON officials is in continuation of the nationwide tour by the commission to see for themselves the level of preparations by states in line with the guidelines of airlifting pilgrims from Nigeria to the holyland.
