Hajj 2021: Ogun State Intending Pilgrims to take vaccine on Saturday

The Executive Secretary of Ogun State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda Babatunde has said that the State intending pilgrims will begins Covid 19 vaccination slated for Saturday and Sunday.

 

 

The Executive Secretary stated this in a statement on Wednesday and said that the State Government had approved the vaccine for Pilgrims

 

“Ogun State Government has approved the administration of COVID-19 Vaccine for intending Pilgrims in accordance with the directive of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON ) as a requirement for 2021 Hajj,” the statement said.

 

Babatunde said the vaccination will take place on Saturday, 10th and Sunday, 11th April, 2021  and asked intending pilgrims to visit the Board’s Secretariat Complex, Block B, Oke-Mosa, Abeokuta with their payment receipts for the purpose of identification and clearance for the vaccination.

 

He however said those who have been vaccinated at their local government areas would only be required to bring their Vaccination Card for necessary documentation.
