HAJJ 2022: ADAMAWA BEGINS REFUNDS OF HAJJ FARE BALANCE TO PILGRIMS

The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has given a balance due to Pilgrims who performed Hajj 2022 and paid the fare of over N2.5 Million as hajj fare .

The Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu explained that the refund was only for those who paid over the official fare for the Hajj 2022 exercise as well as to those who sought to have the money, they deposited with the Commission back.
The Chairman of the Commission, Imam Bappari Umar Kem who presented bank drafts to local government Schedule Officers for onward distribution to the respective pilgrims, urged the officials to ensure that the beneficiaries received their refund.

In a vote of thanks, the Chairman of the Schedule officers Forum, Ya’u Gambo commended the Permanent Secretary and Executive Secretary, Abubakar Salihu for his transparent and accountable leadership.
The event which took place at the Boardroom of the Commission was attended by Management Team and local government Hajj Schedule Officers.
