The Executive Secretary of Kano State Pilgrims board, Alh Muhammad Abbah Dambatta has expressed his disappointment over the inability of Azman Airline to airlift Kano State Pilgrims as contained in the airlift schedule.

Dambatta stated this on Monday while addressing intending pilgrims at the state pilgrims Hajj camp in Kano.

About 400 Kano state intending pilgrims who are scheduled to be airlifted by Azman Air are still in the camp. The pilgrims were invited to Hajj Camp by 6am on Sunday.

“We initially expressed our observations over the selection of AZMAN Airline for Kano state based on their capacity’.

“Now, AZMAN were only able to airlift about 900 pilgrims out of 2,291 pilgrims leaving about 1400 pilgrims on the ground,” he said.

Alh Abbah Dambatta pleaded with the pilgrims to be patient saying that arrangements are being made to airlift all the pilgrims before the closure of King Abdulaziz international airport Jeddah.
