HAJJ 2022: Bauchi State Government to secure standard accommodation for Pilgrims

The Bauchi State Government has promise to secure standard accommodation and prioritize the Welfare of the State contingent to Saudi Arabia during the forthcoming 2022 Hajj exercise.

 

 

The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made the remark in a telephone interview from Mecca, Saudi Arabia, during a pre-hajj visit as part of preparation for this year Hajj, saying the state government has promised to secure best accommodation for it pilgrims.

 

 

Imam Abdurrahman Idris said Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad administration has promised to continue to accord top most priority to the provision of welfare services to the #Pilgrims, expressed optimism that this year’s Hajj exercise would going to be an exceptionally successful due to the level preparedness by the Government.

He further expressed gratitude to the Governor for the support to the Board, especially with regards to pilgrims’ welfare services.

 

Imam Abdurrahman noted that the pre-hajj visit by the Bauchi team is to hold a series of meeting on accommodation in Makkah, transportation and other catering arrangements for the success of the operation.

 

According to him they have commenced negotiations on the same White Rose hotel situated along hijra  street in Makkah, used by the state pilgrims during  2019 Hajj exercise.

 

He added that the team also inspected all facilities belonging to the Board, which includes the office accommodation with a view to giving the facility a face-lift.

 

Imam Abdurrahman used the medium to call on all intending pilgrims from the state to be law abiding and pray for the state and Nigeria in general during the pilgrimage.

He also enjoined staff of the Board and all other Hajj stakeholders in the state to be ready to make sacrifices for the success of the Hajj exercise.

 

On his part the Director Operation of the Board Alhaji Sabiu Barau Ningi said all decision made on the purpose of the visit would be transmitted to National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for consideration.

 

The Bauchi State Executive Secretary’s team was led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Hajj Affairs Hon Adamu ibn Madaki, the Chairman of the Board who is the  Chief Imam of Bauchi Central Mosque Imam Bala Ahmad Baban inna, the Deputy Accountant general Alhaji Sagir Abdullahi, the Board’s Director Administration and human resources Mal Alkasim Dallami Shall and Director Operation Alh. Sabiu Barau Ningi..
