Hajj 2022: Cross River Muslim Pilgrims’ Board Begins refund of Excess Hajj fare tomorrow

The Chairman of Cross River State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Rabiu Abdullahi Maimaje has assured Pilgrims who performed the 2022 Hajj and paid N2.5m as Hajj fare that the Board will start payment of their excess Hajj Fare from tomorrow December 30, 2022

 

The Chairman disclosed this to the Newsmen during an interview at the Calabar carnival event. He said the board has also secured approval for the commencement of another refund received from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for services not rendered during the 2022 hajj.

 

He explained further, the refund is for a particular service not rendered to the Pilgrims by the Saudi Authorities while in the Holy Land, saying ‘Pilgrims who paid their hajj fares through the Board and those that were offered Government slots are entitled to the refund.
