Hajj 2022: Ganduje bids farewell to 405 Kano intending pilgrims

Kano State Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje early Tuesday morning bade farewell to the first batch of intending pilgrims from the State to Saudi Arabia.

 

 

Represented by his deputy Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, the Governor urged them to be good ambassadors of the country by obeying the laws of the Holy Land.

 

 

He reminded them to conduct themselves according to the tenets and enlightenment guide about the Hajj exercise taught them for about eighteen months.

 

 

The Governor assured that the State Government has made adequate arrangements for their welfare, security and comfort, right from Nigeria up to the holy land.

 

 

He however called on the intending pilgrims to pray for the country to overcome the security challenges bedeviling it.

 

 

The Executive Secretary of the State Pilgrims Board, Alh.Muhammad Abba Dambatta appreciated the support given by the Governor towards provision of adequate accommodation to enhance the welfare and comfort of the pilgrims during the Hajj exercise.

 

 

He also thanked the Governor for all the support he rendered to ensure the success and smooth conduct of the exercise.
