Hajj 2022: Gombe set for return airlift, distributes 32kg bags

Gombe State Pilgrims Welfare Board has kicked off preparations for the airlift back of it Hajj 2022 pilgrims back to Nigeria.

 

The first batch is set to depart Makkah for King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah any moment.

 

Speaking to newsmen in Makkah, the executive secretary of the Board, Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan Adamu said all the necessary arrangements have been completed for the smooth conduct of the return airlift starting with the distribution of 32kg bags and weighing of pilgrims luggage.

 

“Thereafter, the pilgrims will be transported to King Abdulazeez international airport Jeddah for onward airlift back home,” he said.

 

 

He also said that all things being equal, those who arrived Saudi Arabia on the second flight and was not able to go to Madinah before Arafat will be transported to the city for visitations.

He said the pilgrims are expected to visit the Holy Prophet’s Mosque, Masjidul Quba and other holy sites before they will be moved to Jeddah for return airlift.
